Turn2 Lab #3: Climate crisis / crisis of the imagination took the form of a private three-day workshop, bringing together about thirty experts and cultural operators from Europe (mainly Germany) and Africa to discuss the ecological crisis and climate change.

The three days of Turn2 Lab#3 in Tunis brought together curators, artists, thinkers and activists from Africa, the Middle East and Europe (mainly Germany) to try and put "the cultural and political struggle" to 'save the Earth of which we are a part' at the heart of their cultural, intellectual and/or civic practice", bringing them together in a common space, in a city at the heart of the MENA region and the Mediterranean at the same time.

The meeting in Tunis was conceived as a starting point for fostering an informal network of cultural practitioners and activists, sharing and exchanging relevant knowledge and practices, but also for developing a common "repertoire/cultural capital/corps of imaginaries, practices, works, encounters" that would have the ambition, in the years to come, to put the issue of ecological transition and climate change at the heart of the cultural sectors and civil societies in our respective contexts. These meetings and discussions were an opportunity to examine our capacity/incapacity to imagine in the face of climate change, and to consider whether the climate crisis is also a crisis of the imagination.
