L’Art Rue’s Commitment to Cultural Professions
Since its creation, L’Art Rue has supported cultural development in Tunisia by working closely with artists and cultural professionals. As part of the Massari program, we continue this mission through a series of free trainings dedicated to cultural professions.
Following the success of our first training on the foundations of cultural mediation, L’Art Rue is now launching a second module, focused on cultural mediation in festivals and public spaces, with a special focus on the Dream City 2025 festival.
Module 2 – Cultural Mediation in Festivals and Public Space
This second module offers a hands-on experience in cultural mediation within the context of a public, multidisciplinary festival. Using Dream City as a case study, participants will explore real-life mediation practices. From June to October 2025, they will design and test inclusive and creative mediation tools that connect with artworks, audiences, and the local context.
The training will be led by two experienced professionals:
- Aurélie Machghoul, anthropologist and art historian, working on art projects with strong social impact
- Hedi Khelil, visual artist, PhD in philosophy, cultural operator and moderator of the training
This training is open to cultural professionals or future professionals who:
✔ Have experience or interest in mediation or artistic outreach
✔ Are motivated to connect arts, audiences, and local territories
✔ Enjoy working collaboratively and adapting to different situations
✔ Are available throughout the training period and for active participation in Dream City 2025
