L'Art Rue and Kraft Agency
The "Change ta Classe" project was devised by Fiona Meadows for the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine of Paris. In 2012, the project was set up in Tunisia thanks to the Dream City festival, and the L'Art Rue association then developed it in schools across the country.
During 3 months, under the supervision of L'Art Rue, Rym Abid and his students from the Higher Institute of Fine Arts of Tunis took over the public primary school Hay Hellal 2 in the popular Essaïda district to transform a classroom in a place of creation to accommodate creative activities.
The objectives are to transform a classroom into a creative space suitable for children, to offer users a bright space evoking nature with a small adjoining garden and to create a shared space for children and parents.
