Slash Transition : artists and locals facilitators meeting at Nantes in March
When and where?
Slash Transition is co-financed by the European Union as part of its Creative Europe programme.
Slash Transition is developped by Trempo (Nantes, France), Casa Capitão (Lisbonne, Portugal), Mutant Radio (Tbilissi, Georgia), OpenSpace (Innsbruck, Austria), L’Art Rue (Tunis, Tunisia).
The 7 Slash Transition project partners meet regularly to exchange, build and develop this cooperative project. Following the first kick-off meeting in Nantes and the first local hub in Tunis that took place in August 2023, L'Art Rue met up with the Slash Transition platform partners at the beginning of February in Innsbruck, Austria, for the first consortium meeting. The partners of this project gathered to discuss a variety of subjects, to further establish the upcoming steps for the project as a whole and for the training sessions dedicated to the artists and their locals facilitators.
Training sessions in Nantes (France) with the Slash Transition locals facilitators and artists selected for the programme. These sessions took place from 13 to 23 March 2024 in Nantes. The meetings were organised by Trempo in collaboration with the École de Design Nantes Atlantique - EDNA.
> About Slash Transition
Slash Transition examines the place and role of the sound artist in a region in transition.
For 4 years, a group of 7 partners will be experimenting with these links in 5 territories in transition, located in Innsbruck (Austria), Lisbon (Portugal), Nantes (France), Tbilisi (Georgia) and Tunis (Tunisia).
The European dimension of the project will enable the different realities of artists (status, legislation, support) and territories (different issues) to be confronted.
