Cyrinne Douss is currently working on a new creation in residence at L'Art Rue, starting on 3 September and finishing on 30 September 2024.
After creating the solo "Je ne suis pas blanche" in 2023, Cyrinne Douss is continuing her research into the depths of identity. In this new project, her aim is to explore the female body. To do this, she explores the inner dimensions of what goes on inside, in tension with what goes on outside, looking for the expression of an intimate, invisible and perhaps universal struggle.
To fuel her research, she draws on multiple heritages, taking inspiration from facts, historical figures and mythological figures. After the premiere of her previous work, she is collaborating again with the artist, musician and composer Benjemy, who is accompanying her on this project. The body, voice and music will be the language tools of this new work, in close proximity and in interaction.
