Ecole primaire publique Hakim Kassar - Hafsia
L'Art Rue
The European Union, through the “Deconstructing Violence Through Art” project until January 2021.
In this workshop on animated film “Me and my emotions,” graphic designer and illustrator Nada Dagdoug accompanies in 2020-2021 a group of childen from the public elementary school of Hafsia every Tuesday afternoon to create an animated film together on the person-ification of our human emotions so as to better identify them at first and then to grasp them.
What physical portrayal suits each emotion? Are they friends or burdens? Many emotions come into play to influence the actions of a schoolchild from the time they leave the family home to the social experience in school.
Making this animated film is about narrating a day in the company of one’s own, identified emotions! Creativity as pedagogy allows for encouraging the child on multiple, intersecting levels: emotional, cognitive and his perspective.
The objective of this workshop is to give them confidence in their imagination to translate their ideas, to draw inspiration from their life to narrate, organize their ideas and narrative scenes, to communicate them well, and express themselves though language that accom-panies images, to learn to work in a group make a creative experience.
