A multidisciplinary artist, scenographer, DJ, music producer, and promoter, Aly Mrabet is a key figure in the contemporary Tunisian artistic and cultural scene.

With a deeply committed and innovative approach, he has made a lasting impression through his ability to transform spaces and redefine the boundaries of artistic expression. His creative repertoire also includes dance, acting, television production, radio, and immersive installations. 

Founder and director of iconic venues and concepts such as Yüka Tunis and Birdhouse, as well as creator of formats like Terra Negra and Green Waves Tunisia, Aly has successfully combined his talents as an atmosphere designer with his role as an incubator of new artistic forms. 

Through these initiatives, he has provided platforms for emerging artists while shaping entire movements that have revitalized the Tunisian cultural scene. 

Among his most notable works, Electroniq Maqams stands out as a perfect example of his innovative approach. This sound creation project draws inspiration from the places, trades, and ambient sounds of the medina of Tunis. 

By blending local sonic heritage with the language of electronic music, Aly reinvents the maqams—a modal system unique to traditional Arab music—embedding them within a contemporary aesthetic. This work explores the dialogue between urban memory and artistic modernity. 

As a music producer and scenographer, Aly Mrabet continuously develops projects where sound and space are in close conversation.
