Iyad Alasttal is a Palestinian documentary filmmaker who lived in Gaza until forced to leave in February 2024. He studied cinema at the University of Corsica and has made several films tackling issues linked to the Palestinian community and its rights. He has participated in various local and international festivals and won several awards. He has also directed and produced over 130 short films, with the aim to highlight the positive and radiant aspect of his country, away from war and destruction
