After nearly 15 years of work in Tunisia, L'Art Rue is creating more and more space for transmission. Everything that is created must also be at the service of those who will come after us. In this context of transmission of know-how and knowledge, we set up in 2021 workshops of development of competences intended for young people of the medina of Tunis, young people who, for some, already collaborated with L'Art Rue on artistic projects.
Within the framework of the project "Civic engagement for the Prevention of Violence in the Medina", 11 young people from different districts of the city, aged between 19 and 27, benefited from 23 coaching sessions by qualified experts over a period of 5 weeks.
The themes developed by the latter were human rights (Saber Louhichi), civic rights (Alaa Khmiri), personal and professional coaching (Lamia Ben Salah), leadership (Leila Ben Hafsia), non-violent communication (Nahla Malouch) and Kendo workshops with Sadri Smoali.
The objectives of these workshops were to provide young people with new knowledge and skills, to equip them with the necessary tools to make a positive change on a personal and social level and to initiate young people to become responsible actors.
