The Civic Space broadcasts the highlights of a retrospective seminar on the "Deconstructing Vio-lence through Art" project, held in person on January 29, 2021.
Testimonials and experiences were shared about this pilot program that marked the last three years at L'Art Rue by developing artistic activities and workshops with parents, children and teach-ers in two public primary schools of the medina (Bab Souika and el Marr Street). The objective has been to reduce tensions, to analyze the mechanisms of violence in order to deconstruct them and to provide an environment conducive to the development of the youngest.
The panel moderated by Ahlem Belhadj took the form of conversations with Emna Kalai, Souha Yaakoubi, Zeineb Abbes, Moez Chérif and Mihyar Hamadi.
