Filmmaking Workshop
with Sentiers & Josua Hotz
Over a period of six days and with the support of two young members of Sentiers, Khadija Zammouli and Walid Draoui, as editing assistants, the Swiss director-Josua Hotz will guide the participants in the creation of a short film that will be presented at the closing of the workshop. From day one, the choice of genre and theme of the film will be decided in a participatory and collective way. Participants will then be invited to write, develop and structure the project through a sequential breakdown.
The filming will strengthen the skills of young people in shooting and sound. The assembly process will be a collective work and the active participation of young people will be essential. During the screening of the film on the last day of the workshop, a debate will follow where the participants will share their creative experience, explain the artistic choices of their film and defend their vision in front of the public.
