In this workshop, led by Hajer Bouden and Insaf Machta, participants will have the opportunity to explore Lyès Salem's film ‘Mascarades’, followed by a debate and analysis of the pre-generics. In addition, participants will have the enriching opportunity to attend captivating screenings and debates on two short films: ‘Nation estate’ by Larissa Sansour and ‘Mes parents vont-ils venir me voir?’ by Mo Haware.

These sessions will be enhanced by an insightful analysis of two sequences from the second film. This immersion in film analysis offers young audiences an in-depth and critical view of cinematic art, helping them to develop their artistic sensibilities, critical thinking skills and ability to decode the messages and techniques used in films. It also enables them to explore different cultural and social perspectives, broadening their intellectual and artistic horizons.
