The European Union, through the “Deconstructing Violence Through Art” project from March 2018 to January 2021.
In the context of the work that had started in 2020, Iqadh continues in 2022-2023 with L'Art Rue its "Eveil Musical" workshops at the Hakim Kassar primary public school in El Hafsia.
The pedagogy developed is both entertaining and active, highlighting the joy of discovery and fun.
It is about children incorporating theoretical knowledge, but rather about making music, living it, especially through the voice and the body. At each workshop, children practice, learn and create.
More broadly, musical awakening develops understanding. It is a means of communication and expression. Children first understand music before they can use it as language. It is this appropriation that gives meaning to sound productions.
Therefore, the goal is to bring children to a more constructed musical gesture while maitaining the fun aspect of it all. The group can design soundscapes, participate in vocal or instrumental improvisations, accompaniments for songs.
Lastly, children exercise 5 complementary practices: singing, body expression, instrumental practice, listening games, the discovery of instruments and listening to artistic projects.

From November 2022 to May 2023: 1 hour in small groups once a week at the Hakim Kassar primary school in the Hafsia - medina of Tunis

From November 2020 to May 2021: 1 hour in small groups every Wednesday morning in the Hakim Kassar school of the Hafsia - medina of Tunis
