Iqadh Association
When and where?
Iqadh is a Tunisian association which works to bring musical awakening in schools to reengage them with music. Musical awakening is a teaching method to develop the personality of a child, based on the practice of vocal and musical exercises and behavioral group games. In partnership with L’Art Rue, Iqadh has been working at different elementary schools in the medina of Tunis.
In partnership with L'Art Rue, Iqadh has been working since 2019 in various primary schools in the medina of Tunis. From 2190 to 2022, the workshops were led by Madiha Nechi.
From November 2022, Mariem Ferchichi and Sourour Tissaoui will lead these workshops. They encourage the children to discover sounds and rhythms and to develop their musical sensibility.
