Visual artist and researcher Leila Rokbani has been working and exhibiting in Tunis since 2007. She graduated in Art Science and Techniques from the École Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Tunis in 2011, where she specialised in sculpture, she is currently working on her doctoral thesis in Aesthetics and Practices of the Visual Arts. As an art educator and teacher, Leila has taught at the Institut Supérieur des Sciences Sociales et des Sciences de l'Éducation de Gafsa (ISSSEG), the Institut Supérieur des Beaux-arts de Sousse (ISBAS) and the Université Ibnou Kholdoune (UIK).

Committed to the dialogue between art and society, Leila Rokbani has also taken part in scientific symposia and published various press articles, seeking to analyse the contemporary issues to which art responds.
