Hichem Chebli
When and where?
Born in 1991, Hichem started Hip Hop dancing in the streets of Tunis at the age of 10, before training in contemporary dance. He subsequently works in many choreographic and theatrical creations in Tunisia and on international tours for the Cairo Opera, the Carthage Theater Days, the Zurich Dance Festival and the Theatre of la Villette in Paris.
In 2018, he joined the Tunis Opera Ballet, and collaborated with L'Art Rue as an performer in the creation "Soft Layer" by Jozef Wouters for Dream City 2019, and "Libya" by Radouan Mriziga for Dream City 2022, which continues its tour in 2023. In 2022, he became a contemporary dance teacher at the Ikaa dance school under the direction of Anne Marie Sellami. He was also choreographer of the new creation "The Beginning Of The End" by Cyrine Kalai.
