Valentina Fusari is a professor of African history at the University of Turin. Doctor of Geopolitics, she has an interdisciplinary background and has been a visiting researcher at numerous institutions (Addis Ababa, Oxford, Harvard, Leiden). 

Her work focuses on the social and demographic history of the Horn of Africa, with particular attention to mixed heritage and the agency of Italo-Eritreans.
