Leyla Dakhli
Leyla Dakhli is a historian and specialist in the intellectual and social history of the contemporary Arab world. Leyla Dakhli’s extensively researched installation,The Maps of Dignity, was produced by L’Art Rue for Dream City 2023. She has also participated as a panelist for our Between Land and Sea program. Leyla Dakhli is a historian and specialist in the intellectual and social history of the contemporary Arab world. She is a research fellow at the CNRS, assigned to the Marc Bloch Centre in Berlin. She has undertaken work on feminism. Since 2010 / 2011, she has attempted to decipher contemporary events from her perspective as a historian. Since 2018, she has led a research project on revolts and revolutions in the Arab world.
