Leyla Dakhli and her team of researchers and artists propose an exploration of the spaces of revolt in the Arab Mediterranean world. Starting from the observation that the revolutions of dignity were practical, sensory and emotional experiences rooted in a conception of what a dignified life is, the researchers propose a way of representing these emotions and feelings by mapping them. They have traced the terrains of life that the rebels have told them about through interviews, observations or archival traces.

The exhibition, accompanied by mini-conferences and performances, brings together a dozen maps of the micro-histories of revolts in Algiers, Tunis, Damascus or Alexandria, portraits of women and men, places and forms of undignified life, stories of emancipation and revolutionary impulses.
