Call For Applications: Technical Training in Lighting / Audio Visual / Sound

We are delighted to share with you a major step in the realization of our mission within the Tunisian cultural ecosystem. Since its foundation, L'Art Rue has been committed to supporting artists and contributing to cultural development in Tunisia. 


Today, we take a new step with the launch of the technical training modules as part of the Massari project.



The technical training is dedicated to the performing arts, including aspects of sound, lighting and audiovisual.



The mentor of this training, Mohamed Hédi Belkhir, alias Mich, is a sound engineer and technical director from Tunisia. The trainers in this programme are certified from Le Centre de Formation Professionnelle aux Techniques du Spectacle (CFPTS), renowned for its know-how and its excellence in training for the technical professions in live performances and events, located in France.



Participation conditions:


> Candidates interested in this training may apply for all three modules of sound, light and audiovisual, however they will be selected for one module.




Objectives of the sound module:


The training on sound mastery focuses on advanced techniques of capturing, processing and broadcasting of sound specific to theatre, dance and artistic performances. Participants will learn about the use of professional equipment to enhance live sound, while exploring spatialization and the latest audio technologies.

Objectives of the audiovisual module:


The digital broadcasting training for living arts and art installations prepares participants to create immersive visual experiences in addition to live performances. Sessions cover digital projection, image creation, synchronization with live performances and the design of projections adapted to various forms of living arts.

Objectives of the lighting technical module:


The training on the creation of stage lighting offers an introduction to light design, with the aim of developing the participants' technical and artistic skills, which are essential to animate visually striking performances. They will learn how to develop light plans and design creative concepts for various types of live arts performances.

Practical information

Duration of the lighting training:


- Cycle 1: 5 days mid-October 2024

- Cycle 2: 5 days beginning of December 2024

- Cycle 3: 5 days February 2025



Duration of audiovisual training:


- Cycle 1 & Cycle 2:  Mid-September to Mid-October

- Cycle 3: 5 days February 2025



Duration of sound training:


- Cycle 1: 5 days in mid-September 2024

- Cycle 2: 5 days to early December 2024

- Cycle 3: 5 Days in February 2025
