Art as a playground, a space for learning and transformation

At L’Art Rue, we believe that art is not a luxury, but a fundamental right—a vital breath that nourishes both the child and the collective. Our artistic programs — whether held in collaboration with schools in the medina or during school holidays at our premises — open doors to new horizons, where each child can discover their own voice, weave connections, and learn how to dream.

The Spring Camp, held from March 24 to 28, 2025, embodies this vision. Designed as bubbles of freedom and spaces for experimentation, its workshops invite children — and sometimes their parents — to create, explore, and invent together. In the heart of Dar Bach Hamba, where the walls resonate with living memories, art becomes a shared language, a gesture of transmission and emancipation.

The Spring Camp — a program designed to awaken the senses and spark creativity:

Storytelling & Creation Workshop with Leila Ben Salah
Nestled in a story, children dive into a world where nature whispers and tales light up. Sounds, lights, and gestures awaken their imagination, sensitivity, and curiosity. Each day, they explore, craft, play, create — and grow, carried by the beauty of shared narratives. A workshop where listening happens with the ears and the heart.

Hip Hop Workshop with Tarek Boualegui
Through group games and a playful approach, children discover breakdance as an art of free movement. Step by step, they learn the basics of hip-hop while tuning into their own rhythm. Here, each body finds its path, each movement becomes a language, and dance turns into a game of expression and self-confidence.

Embroidery Workshop with Imen Dridi
With thread, needles, and focused attention, children discover sewing as a patient, creative, and valuable gesture. Stitch by stitch, they learn to assemble, embroider, and craft. Fabric dolls, mini cushions, or tote bags become the fruits of their curious hands. A workshop where both objects and self-confidence are gently stitched together.

Culinary Arts Workshop with Ecojina
A workshop where children explore cooking as a sensory and meaningful playground. Between natural colors, joyful recipes, and anti-waste practices, they transform everyday ingredients into delicious creations. Alone or paired with a parent, they learn to cook with care, curiosity, and respect. A flavorful adventure where creativity flows through hands — and palates.

Vocal Practice Workshop with Boutheina Hosni – Singing Together
Moments of connection where art becomes a shared language and a space for mutual discovery. Singing in harmony, telling a story with two voices: experiences that strengthen both family bonds and individual expression.

English Workshop with Ons Khalili
An intensive course designed for high school students preparing for final exams, helping them strengthen their English skills. Through games, conversations, and role-playing, each participant advances at their own pace. A dynamic and personalized approach, where learning becomes confidence, and language becomes a key to new opportunities.
