Sara Zanotta is a researcher at the University of Turin. 

With a PhD in Asian history, she is dedicated to the study of Iranian communities abroad and their participation in Iranian historical events "from a distance" between the 19th and 20th centuries, in Asian, European, and Northeast African spaces.
