L'Art Rue
Since 2006 L’Art Rue, created by dancers and choreographers Selma and Sofiane Ouissi, puts the creative gesture of the artists in resonance with the Tunisian context, its population, its public and community issues, and democratic challenges.
L’Art Rue is a shared and cross-disciplinary space, located at the heart of the Medina, but profoundly connected to the worlds around it, where artists from here and elsewhere cross paths and build with citizens, activists and experts of the city and of life of Tunis. With the hope of collectively creating and transforming a territory and with the urgency of making a city and a society together.
L’Art Rue places openness, proximity and time at the heart of all its endeavours in order to reach and involve a diversity of human beings, all concerned with imagining a common future.
