Recruitment of Art & Education Programme Coordinator

L'Art Rue is a creative and committed space in the heart of the Medina of Tunis, in the Koutteb Louzir district, where artists, citizens, activists and experts meet to transform the city and strengthen community ties. The association places art and education at the heart of its activities, offering children artistic experiences that stimulate their imagination, nurture their creative thinking and enrich their environment.



As part of its Art & Education programme, L'Art Rue is looking for a : 



A Coordinator to manage artistic and educational projects aimed at young audiences.





> > Missions




The Coordinator will be responsible for :


Implementing projects: Planning, coordinating teams and monitoring activities, ensuring that deadlines are met.

Coordinating artistic and educational workshops: Organising workshops, managing logistics and acting as a mediator with parents and children.

Event organisation: Participating in the planning of conferences and events linked to the programme.

Administrative management and reporting: Ensuring administrative and financial follow-up and producing regular reports on activities.a




> > Main activities and tasks


- Implementing and monitoring projects in the Art & Education programme.

- Designing and organising artistic and educational activities for children.

- Manage logistics (preparation of spaces, equipment).

- Selecting and supervising contributors, service providers and associated volunteers.

- Monitor the progress of projects via regular reports.

- Supervising volunteers and trainees, ensuring their integration and coordination.

- Help develop partnerships and raise the profile of the programme.

Education & Experience


- 5 years' higher education in the humanities, social sciences (political science, arts, culture) or project management (cultural or educational).

- Experience in coordinating educational or cultural projects, preferably with young people.




Required skills


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Good drafting and summarising skills.

- Ability to work as part of a team, good organisational skills and thoroughness.

- Fluency in Arabic, French and English.

- Good command of IT management tools.




Job conditions:

Position based at the L'Art Rue offices in Tunis, with occasional local visits depending on the project.
