L’Art Rue seeks to be more open to both the region and the world, which is why the association is a partner in different cultural cooperation projects.

In this context, L'Art Rue is looking for a trainee within cooperation projects. 

>  The missions  

The trainee's main mission will be to assist in the coordination of the All-Around Culture project, including the organization of two meetings as well as the launch of the Slash/Transition project.   

               All-Around Culture aims to support the cultural ecosystem in the Southern Mediterranean countries by enhancing the capacities of cultural actors. In addition to boosting the sector through grants for cultural and artistic projects in seven countries : Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia, as well as the Libyan and Syrian diaspora.   

As part of the project, L'Art Rue is implementing two programmes; Thoulathy and Youth-Led Initiatives.   

              Slash/Transition is a cooperation project starting in 2023, which aims to foster the professional development of emerging musicians through cross-disciplinary projects of creation, integrating the notion of urban transition. 

All-Around Culture - Thoulathy  

• Supporting logistical organization of the two participant meetings : the interim meeting (3-7 May, 2023 in Hammamet) and the final meeting (early October 2023 in Tunis)   

• Budget follow up of the two meetings (in support of the project coordinator)  

• Folow up and coordination with the beneficiaries   

All-Around Culture – Youth-led Initiatives  

• Supporting the set up of the online closing event (date to be announced)  

• Supporting the design of the project presentation booklet for the beneficiaries  

Slash/Transition  

• Supporting the launch of the project (coordination with partners, composition of a group of multidisciplinary actors).    

Required Profile  

          > Experiences 

• Professional training (3 or 5 years of higher education) in progress or completed in project management or social sciences (Political Sciences, Arts, Culture, or any other relevant branch)  

• Experience in event organization or project management is a plus  

            >  Skills

• Computer skills and good knowledge of the Office Pack (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.)  

• Communication and interpersonal skills  

• Good writing skills  

• Good budget management  

• Ability to work in a team  

• Rigorous, organized  

• Artistic sensibility  

• Fluency in English is essential, Arabic is a plus 

           > Internship conditions  

• Tripartite training agreement with the training structure  

• Full-time internship of 6 months from mid-April 2023 to mid-November 2023  

• Position based in L'Art Rue offices in Tunis
