As part of the 2023 Dream City festival edition (from September the 22th to October the 8th) , the workshops Les Ateliers de la Ville Rêvée, time for participatory debates, will focus on ecological transition and climate justice.

In partnership with the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Tunisia Foundation, L'Art Rue will offer three conferences of encounters and reflections to discuss the best practices that are emerging, around the challenges of the ecological transition and the role that artists and culture can and should play by involving the young generation and associating them with thinkers, activists and art practitioners, to imagine alternatives and think about actions that will shape cities that are resilient to the impending impacts of climate change.   

 The Workshops of the Dreamt City will be organized for around five days from October 2nd to October 6th, 2023 during which ten young Tunisians, active in the field of ecological transition, accompanied by two experts, coming together to share their experiences and practices and to reflect on climate justice, the fundamental right to access to a healthy environment, water stress, the concept of commons and equitable sharing of resources, social and popular ecology, to sustainably live the city, etc.

The workshops will result to the publication of a manifesto. his text-vision will bring together all these reflections in connection with ecological transformations and struggles in order to raise public awareness of the challenges of ecological transition.
