In a confined world, between the walls of a country in decline, a bed is set as a stage and two be-ings without identities, or perhaps with plural identities, search for a way out.

When the only escape is an Art condemned by murdered politics and even the freedom to move one's own body is confined by the diktats of a society terrified by the exaltation of movement.

The two artists - trapped between barricaded borders and the forbidden- beat against the walls of their Art and seek each other...


About Marwen Errouine

Choreographer and performer, Marwen Errouine began his dancing career at the age of 11 at the youth centers of the city of Tunis. In 2009, he joined the Mediterranean Centre for Contemporary Dance (CMDC) and the Mediterranean Choreographic Centre (CCM). There, he met choreographer Imed Jemaa. He is the author of six creations - from 2011 to 2016: "Nafak" 2011, “Games of Silence” or "Jeux de Silence" 2012, "Asthma" 2013, "Hasra" 2014, "El Bayeta" in 2016.

In 2017, he joined the choreographic creation "Miscarriage" by Nejib Khalfallah and co-produced by the Tunisian National Theatre as artistic collaborator, performer and coach. In 2019, he collaborated with the choreographer Selim Ben Safia and together they created "Chawchra".  His theatre ap-pearances include a 2012 play by Raja Ben Ammar, "Facebook", as well as various productions by Taoufik Jebali: "Le Fou", as an artistic collaborator and performer, and in "30 ans déjà" and "Ettebâa", as an artistic collaborator.
