Ala Eddine Slim
Ala Eddine Slim was born in 1982 in Tunis. He is a filmmaker and visual artist, founder of the independent production structure Exit Productions in 2005.
He has written, directed and produced several films of all genres, selected and awarded in prestigious festivals around the world; "L'automne" (CM Fiction, selected in Clermont-Ferrand in 2008), "Journal d'un homme important" and "Journal d'une femme importante" (2 video art series published by Lowave Paris in 2012), "Babylon" (LM Documentary co-directed with ismaël and Youssef Chebbi, grand prize at FID Marseille 2012), "The Last of Us" (LM Fiction, Lion of the Future at the Venice Film Festival 2016), "Tlamess" (LM Fiction, selected for the Directors' Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival 2019).
He is currently working on his new film "Agora" and preparing a sound and video installation with the artist Malek Gnaoui.
