Musical awakening workshop

This workshop for children aged from 6 to 12, is not about incorporating theoretical knowledge, but rather about making music, living it, especially through the voice and the body.
The musical awakening approach develops understanding. It is a means of communication and expression; children first understand music before they can use it as language. It is this appropriation that gives meaning to sound productions.
Therefore, the goal is to bring children to a more constructed musical gesture while maitaining the fun aspect of it all. The group can design soundscapes, participate in vocal or instrumental improvisations, to accompany the songs.
