As a first step this workshop will present notes, musical keys, Oriental and Western instruments, Tunisian, Oriental and Western singers, musicians and composers, classical and modern as well as simple melodies and rhythms.

The children also learn Tunisian Maalouf songs and short sequences of songs both in groups and solo.

The objectives of the workshop are to develop awareness and a general music culture (as well as a Tunisian one in particular) while showing the importance of music and its role in the life of the child. It is a question of developing a respect for music and art in general in children and of contributing to the creation of a musical repertoire.
