The European Union, through the “Deconstructing Violence Through Art” project.
In this workshop held at the Kouttab Louzir elementary school and led by visual artist Wadi Mhiri, children work from the book “The Little Prince,” adapted into Tunisian dialect by writer Dhiaa Bouselmi. The 15-session workshop is divided into discovery, theory, and creation and engages the themes of colors, portraits, and collages.
The objective is to introduce several techniques about the same theme, to familiarize with theoretical notions (names of artists, specializations…) and to introduce children to research and reflection.
Practical information
From October to December 2020, every Thursday and Friday afternoon at Koutab Louzir's school.
