Omezzine Ben Amor
When and where?
A retired secondary school teacher, Omezzine Ben Amor loves listening to and telling stories in Tunisian dialect, French and Arabic. She has trained to improve her craft. Through oral traidtions, she familiarizes young people with heritage, the love of reading and listening.
In Kerkennah she participates in the project for good water management and preservation, in which storytelling serves as an awareness-raising tool for this theme.
A facilitator of storytelling evening events at the Maison de France in Sfax, at the Cultural Center B7L9, and in re-writing workshops, Omezzine works on storytelling with children and adolescents alike.
