Mehdi Kriaa
When and where?
Born in 1978 in Tunis, Mehdi Kriaa studied at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Tunis, specialising in ceramics. He is currently a teacher of plastic arts at the National School of Architecture and Urbanism of Tunis.
He has done internships and training in several ceramic techniques, participated in various national and international exhibitions since 2003 and was a member of the purchasing commission of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs in 2017.
Founder of the KRIAMIC brand in 2017, he develops a personal approach to ceramics and has been developing his practice for more than ten years by questioning the module and the modular composition according to renewed approaches.
