Thomas Egoumenides
Thomas Egoumenides is a French architect and designer based in Tunisia since 2015. In 2016, he founded the multidisciplinary design studio Flaÿou with Hella El Khiari, with whom they participated in the Paris and Amman Design Weeks, among others.
Since then, he has specialized in experimental design and recycling, believing that, like cats, objects and materials have multiple lives.
In 2021, he is developing an ephemeral design and recycling laboratory called Rascal during a six-month residency with the association L'Art Rue.
His objective is to act before the recycling stage. To take advantage of the material and its existing qualities by trying to modify it. What remains is a simple approach that bears witness to the history of the materials and objects.
