Working through videos, ceramics, engravings, installations, sound and performances, his approach to materiality allows him to develop an alternative practice that combines everyday materials with traditional techniques.
Ala Eddine Slim
Born in 1982, visual artist and major filmmaker in Tunisia, Ala Eddine Slim has developed a unique universe in the cinematography of his country, where the themes of marginality, wandering, mutation and territories are expressed in a singular and innovative cinematic point of view and form.
