Emel is a singer-songwriter and music producer. Originally from Tunis, Emel has been based in Paris since 2008 where she fled dictatorship to pursue her artistic and musical career.
Journeying between experimental, electronic, lyrical music with North African and Arab mixed accents, Emel creates a sound as sensitive and nonconformist as herself, far from clichés and easy categories.
