When and where?
CATPC is an art collective of plantation workers based in Lusanga, Democratic Republic of Congo.
In 2017, they opened an OMA-designed White Cube on a former Unilever plantation. Their solo show at SculptureCenter was named 'most challenging show of the year’ by the New York Times.
With the proceeds from their art, CATPC buys back and restores former plantation land. Their latest work includes the Balot NFT.
