Amer Shomali
When and where?
Amer Shomali (1981) is a Palestinian multidisciplinary artist. He holds an MA in Animation from Arts University Bournemouth and lives in Ramallah. In 2006, he was one of the artists making the sketch film Summer 2006, Palestine.
In 2011, Shomali unveiled The Icon, a portrait of Leïla Khaled. In 2014, Shomali co-directed with Paul Cowan the documentary The Wanted 18.
