The migrant crisis is at the heart of all the news. Faced with recent and tragic events in Tunisia, such as the expulsion and death of refugees in the Sahara, Dream City takes a stand in favour of a wholly open and mixed space, advocating a deep and unconditional solidarity between all the communities present in our territory and in our programme.

It is in this context and this urgency that we organize with our partners the panel discussion on the theme «Migrations and borders» followed by the screening of the film Fuocoammare, par-delà Lampedusa (2016) by Gianfranco Rosi.

> Screening of the film Fuocoammare, par-delà Lampedusa (2016) by Gianfranco Rosi.

Fuocoammare (Sicilian: title of a folklore song «Fire at the Sea»), is an Italian documentary written and directed by Gianfranco Rosi and released in 2016.

The film was shot on the Italian island of Lampedusa during the migratory crisis of the 2010s in Europe. It links the dangerous crossing of the Mediterranean by migrants to the ordinary life of islanders.  The film won the Golden Bear at the 2016 Berlinale. It was nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary.
