In this video creation, Jumana Manna and Sille Storihle blend their practices to examine the construction of identity and power dynamics.
With satirical humor, the film questions Norway's image as a nation of peace and benevolence. From 1948 to the Oslo Accords of 1993, the chronology unfolds the events, conflicts, and massacres in Palestine, punctuated by historical tales and myths interpreted by children, voice-overs, and political speeches. This layered narrative highlights the Norwegian model of mediation, revealing its limitations. Between international image and political realities, the tension of a national dream confronted with its own contradictions emerges.
