We are delighted to announce that Dream City 2023 creation "BIRD" will take part of Festival Les Rencontres à l'échelle, next Wednesday June 5th and Thursday June 6th.
In this performance, we witness an intimate relationship between different two species, a collaborative dance where the consciences of the body and space of two pigeons fit with those of the Tunisian dancer and choreographer Sofiane Ouissi.
The human being takes care of articulating the movements, the letters, the surfaces and the sounds produced by Jihed Khmiri, while the pigeon, is in charge of what it wants.
The attention is reciprocal, the tropism of species is diffracted, this fragile and sensitive dialogue draws a contingent narrative, at the heart of the shared space.
