Call for application : INTERNSHIP: Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant Intern
L’Art Rue, a creative hub located in the heart of the Medina of Tunis, aims to democratize contemporary art by bringing artistic creations closer to local communities.
L’Art Rue designs and implements artistic and cultural projects with residents of the area through several key activities:
1.Artistic residencies, which every two years lead to the creation of a contextual art festival, Dream City
2.Art & Education activities for children
3.Cooperation projects with various international cultural actors
4.Public events, including discussions, roundtables, and cultural gatherings.
All of L’Art Rue’s activities aim to foster a society through art: from the immersive approach of artists in residence, to the educational programs we develop, the moments of reflection integrated into our projects, and our flagship event Dream City, whose 10th edition will take place from October 3 to 19, 2025.
As part of this mission, L’Art Rue is seeking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant Intern to support the planning, tracking, and analysis of its cultural programs within its Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) department.
Main Tasks:
Monitoring and Evaluation for Dream City:
Support the development and implementation of a quantitative and qualitative M&E strategy for the Dream City biennale and its related projects (artworks, workshops, masterclasses, Kharbga City, cultural mediation, volunteers, etc.)
Assist in the deployment and improvement of M&E tools for the Dream City biennale
Support the collection and gathering of data for Dream City and its activities from various festival stakeholders (artists, collaborators, team members, etc.)
Conduct interviews with different actors and beneficiaries of the festival (artists, collaborators, volunteers, etc.)
Assist in organizing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data collected during Dream City and its associated projects
Other Activities:
Monitor summer workshops for children and youth from the Medina, implemented by the Art & Education Department..
Desired Profile:
Experience:
Ongoing or completed higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) in project management, social sciences, humanities, or economics
Experience in collecting and/or analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
Research experience, including survey design, interviews, and questionnaire development
Experience in the cultural or artistic field is a plus
Knowledge of statistical software is a plus
Skills:
Proficient in digital tools and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Knowledge of social research methods (surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Ability to collect, process, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data
Strong analytical skills
Artistic and contextual sensitivity
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong writing abilities
Ability to work in a team
Organizational rigor and attention to detail
Fluency in English, French, and Arabic
Internship Conditions
Full-time paid internship, lasting 4 to 5 months, from July 7, 2025 to November 30, 2025.
Position based at L’Art Rue’s headquarters in the Medina of Tunis.
